kirite
Katharine Mardirosian in McLean at 100 Bowls of Soup is making wonderful soups with fresh ingredients, no additives, and little salt.. She sells them at My Organic Butcher in McLean and the Reston Farmers Market. She hopes to find other outlet to ply her wares.. Katharine can be reached at mardios@verizon.net. I have no financial interest in her business. Just a happy customer.
goodeats
kirite - what makes her soups wonderful other than "fresh ingredients?" Which soups would you recommend that you have tried? Have you compared her to the popular Soupergirl in DC???? Inquiring minds want to know more than the little additives...

Anna Blume
They are also at 100bowlsofsoup@gmail.com and have a cute website. It is cute, though Soupergirl's is much cuter. Does seem like out-right copy-catting of a brilliant idea I wish I had had, but this pair is offering something Sarah is not: alternatives to vegan soups, e.g. beef borscht. Unlike Whole Foods and Balducci's these soups are not overly salted. I have not yet tried Soupergirl, but I will. Are her soups available in NOVA? goodeats
Are her soups available in NOVA? I have not tried either company's soups, as most soups now have ingredients that aggravate reflux issues; however, according to the Soupergirl site, there is a pickup location in Alexandria, VA on certain days at the La Fromagerie.
