I was never much of fan of the stuff you find in the candy checkout aisle, but recently when I had some excellent stuff at a party and can't stop thinking about getting some more. By halva I'm referring to the sesame/tahini based dessert that is typically sesame, sugar, and other added flavors like vanilla, chocolate, pistacio, etc. Thanks. It is in Falls Church near Columbia Pike and Route 7. They had it in bulk and I recall getting slivers to sample, much like a cheese shop might offer.
