Pool Boy Posted August 20, 2015 Author Share Posted August 20, 2015 Well it is over -- "Brasserie Monte Carlo Closes" by Andrew Metcalf on bethesdamagazine.comI went there maybe 2 or 3 times over the years and it was fine. Nothing amazing, but solid. I was last there maybe 5 years ago though.The replacement, per the article, is supposed to be a French Bistro concept called Duck Duck Goose. Pretty dumb name, but maybe catering to the silliness of it all? It is close to a lot of the apartments and condos that are going up around it, so it might do well enough with the younger crowd -- who knows?
