Wanted to put this out to my fellow board members as it is very special for us to have María José Lí³pez de Heredia with us for the evening.

Not to mention these beautiful wines to be paired with a five course family style tapas dinner of delicious Estadio favorites:

Gravonia 2005

Tondonia Reserva Blanco 2001

Vina Cubillo 2006

Tondonia Reserva Tinto 2003

Tondonia Gran Reserva 1994

Dinner is at 7pm and I promise you will leave full & happy for $100 per person (+ tax + gratuity.)

The Pope flies out at 4pm so fingers crossed the city will have returned to normal by the evening and you will have no trouble getting to Estadio!

1520 14th St. NW

Washington DC 20005

(14th between P St. & Church St.)

We have 8 seats left- to reserve either call the restaurant after 4pm (202.319.1404)- email me (jennifer@estadio-dc.com)- or PM me here.

Below is all info in more flowery language from our mailing  :D

Estadio is thrilled to welcome María José Lí³pez de Heredia

of Rioja's most important, historic and traditional winery, Lopez de Heredia, for a wonderful evening focusing on a selection of the estate's legendary, transcendent wines! Along with Estadio's wine team of Max Kuller and Kevin Martin, María José will lead guests through a range of her wonderfully unique traditional wines.

Max and Kevin will pair the wines with a lavish feast of five courses of family style tapas, which will make for a first class night of Spanish cuisine! We have never been more excited about a special guest than we are for María José, so we hope you will be able to join! Space is extremely limited for the event.  Please call Estadio at   (202) 319. 1404 to reserve your seats today!

Please join us!

Jennifer, thanks for joining.

There's been near-total radio silence about Proof, Estadio, and Doi Moi since Mark's passing, and I for one miss his gregarious personality. The best way we can honor Mark and his family is to enjoy and discuss his restaurants - I know that's what he'd want.
