Event: Butchering Demonstration at The Butcher's Block

August 25^th: Butchering Demonstration
The Butcher’s Block’s Ken Kaiser will be leading a butchering demonstration on Saturday August 25^th between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Kaiser will demonstrate how to break down and butcher whole chickens from Midnight Amish farms, as well as how to grill with marinades. The complimentary demonstration will feature specialty sauces from Virginia-based Jerry’s Backyard Barbeque. Jerry’s BBQ sauce and honey mustard will be available for purchase for $6 each, in addition to the air-chilled, Amish chickens, which are priced at $6.50 for half chickens, or $4 per pound. Complimentary take-home recipe cards will also be provided.
