We visited for the first time recently and really enjoyed ourselves, but I'm kicking myself for not ordering the fried chicken. Next time!

I agree - we ate at L'Entrecote in NYC last month and it was insanely busy. MR has a much more relaxed feel to it.

Last month we visited BlackTail, the new Cuban-themed bar in Battery Park from Sean Muldoon & Jack McGarry of Dead Rabbit Grocery & Grog. We really enjoyed ourselves, and we're always amazed at how much attention to detail Sean, Jack and their team put into creating world-class establishments. http://blacktailnyc.com

I'm surprised that with all of the awards and accolades that Sean, Jack & Co. have racked up, there hasn't been more conversation about Dead Rabbit. We went last month while I was in town for a conference. They recently added a full Irish Breakfast to the menu: It was a great start to the final day of our short NYC trip. Later on that day we visited their new Cuban-themed sister bar in Battery Park called BlackTail. We absolutely LOVED our experience, and to be quite honest I like it better than the Dead Rabbit. It seemed they took what they learned creating Dead Rabbit and newly Michelin-starred GreenRiver and expanded on it.

Hi Everyone! I'm Jennifer, and I live in Silver Spring. My husband ElGuapo and myself relocated to the area 2 years ago from our native Cleveland. I am a Podiatrist, with offices in Silver Spring and Washington DC. We've been having a wonderful time getting to know the food landscape in the area. Lately we've had fantastic meals at Jaleo and Zaytinya, but I can also be found at RFD when I want Cleveland-esque comfort food. I look forward to getting to know everyone! Jennifer
