  1. I saw Michael Burks as well and was blown away by this "upscaleness" of this venue! Nothing compared to the venue where I use to work at in Saint Louis @ BB's jazz, Blues & Soups where I first saw Michael Burks. At Hamilton, Michael Burk got off stage and walked around the whole floor rocking his Fender! He even came up stairs to balcony to say "Hi" to me! Oh- I had a pepperoni & sausage pizza and shared pitchers of Loose Cannon- Heavy Seas, and some California Rolls. For a venue, it has a lot options for drinks and food, pricey, but what do you expect? Your in a music venue, your downtown, and your across from the White House! (At least they are making good use out of Roberta Donna's old space, Galileo!)
  2. Rhino Chasers Pilsner is served at Evening Star I also tried the Rhinonoel< just too busy for me, too xmas- gingerbread spices.
  3. Founder's Breakfast Stout- a fantastic ride of chocolate, coffee hints of Sumatra and Kona, with abundance of flaked oats....delish!
  4. Vietanamese braised pork and eggs in caramel known as thit kho! old school yumyum yummy!
  5. Paul Bakery Grand Opening of our US Flagship store on May 2nd in Washington, DC! PAUL will be located in one of DC's most prime retail/restaurant locations: 801 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, with its front doors opening onto the plaza of the US Navy War Memorial, and directly across from The National Archives. A second PAUL store will open in Georgetown at the corner of Wisconsin Ave. and M St. NW later in the year. The design at PAUL will inspire French comfort in a warm and welcoming ambiance, and will be complemented by gracious service. The décor will be reminiscent of authentic French bakeries and is designed to allow guests to feel transported and comfortable. The 3,220 square foot bakery will offer seating for 50 at charming café tables and booth seating. PAUL will also feature stunning views of the Navy Memorial fountains from its outdoor terrace seating. PAUL is world-renown with nearly 500 stores in 25 countries, and in such prime locations as London, Amsterdam, Madrid, Tokyo, Bahrain, Belgium, Jordan, Qatar and Switzerland. We are very proud to now open a PAUL bakery-café in Washington, DC!

  8. My girlfriend and I ordered pizza from a popular national chain. I thought I was chewing on a "extra chewy" piece of pepperoni- spat it out. Nope. It was somebody's bandage. My girlfriend even called to file a complaint and they just hung up on her while I was soaping my mouth out. That's why I stick to neapolitan pizzas now!
  9. What kind of concept and location?

  10. So bacon-chocolate lollipops trite squared or double trite?
