Went here to Fork & Wrench in February with friends that are getting married in June (we go next week to Pittsburgh to attend it! And, uh, to hit up Morcilla) as they live in Baltimore and we want to continue our dalliance with exploring Baltimore over time. Parking is pretty tricky in the evenings so we took the valet option, which was pretty reasonable. The space is nice with some activity down on the street level main floor, but we were seated upstairs with ample seating (and also where the kitchen is). Had a good round of cocktails, followed by a delicious meal. The beef tartare was goos, as was the octopus and a lamb loin 'roll' was very good. Service was good, though when we were done it took a little time to get the check. All in all a very solid and delicious place to have a nice meal. I will be back.

Baltimore Restaurant Week officially kicks off this Friday 1-12 and runs through 1-21. As someone who used work during this madness, please be kind to your the service staff, and honor the reservation. I won't lecture you all on making multiple plans at several restaurants, but please be judicious in making your plans. A great deal of planning both for FOH as well as BOH goes into executing a great restaurant week. Enjoy all that Baltimore has to offer, Hon!! Restaurant Week veteran, kat

The collaboration between Stillwater Ale's Brian Strumke and Jack Bistro's Ted Stelzenmuller is opening today right across from the Natty Boh Tower in Canton. http://ofloveandregret.com/ Hours: (M-F) Drinks 11 am-close | Kitchen 11 am-10 pm (Sat-Sun) Drinks 5 pm-close | Kitchen 5 pm-10 pm They have twenty taps and the current beer listcontains 13 Stillwater beers, among others. A short blurb in the Baltimore Sun Some pictures and a very brief write-up from what appears to be a soft opening I've been keeping an eye on this place and am excited to see what the combination has to offer, I hope to swing by within the next couple weeks (although knowing me, it'll take at least five months)

I love Dangerously Delicious Pies, chocolate chess is my fav. It is a small operation and I have heard in the past that he gets quite overwhelmed during Thanksgiving. Perhaps he is better prepared now (this was a few years ago) but I must admit that it would give me pause. Rodney does make a kick ass pie, though.
