Noticed this place tonight, located on Bethesda Ave next to Pizza Zero. Anyone know anything about this place. Noticed a few people inside but chairs were stacked on tables so it does not look like they are open yet. -
Pesca Deli is now advertising that have also opened a butcher shop across the street at 4961 Bethesda Avenue called Butchers Alley.

This is a cute little place that opened last fall. My husband and I have stopped in for lunch several times (they have lunch specials), and have been very pleased with the experience. We've tried a variety of dishes and all have been excellent. Most recently, my husband had the Sushi special and I had Tuna Tataki. Everything was very fresh and tasty. They serve beer and wine. The space is bright, modern and attractive. -

Please transform this topic into a post elsewhere if there is an established general thread about new places and transformations. However, last night I noticed copies of an application for a liquor license posted in the window of the McDonald's that closed some time ago, i.e. across from the Uptown, down a bit from an Italian restaurant on the corner whose logo is a winged lion. Does anyone know what's up at this location?
