Where else to find koshari in the DC area?
I posed this question to George at Mediterranean Gourmet Market, and he suggested Cairo Cafe at 6244 Little River Tpke. (703-750-3551). I have not tried it, but it's somewhere on my long list....

Stopped by Cairo Cafe on my way to another meeting this afternoon, but did not order. They don't have a take-out menu but my reconaissance mission was a success. They do offer koshari and they claim it to be a specialty of the kitchen.
