Mad Fox Brewing Company seeking a qualified Executive Chef candidate for our Falls Church location.  Mad Fox is an award winning upscale-casual brewpub featuring a chef driven seasonal menu.  Mad Fox was developed by nationally recognized and awarded brewer Bill Madden, focusing on creative faire to match our nationally award winning beer.  At Mad Fox, our menu is designed to offer artisanal pizzas paired with a full menu developed by creative vision of the executive chef. 


Experience & Capabilities 

"¢ 5+ years Executive Chef experience

"¢ Track record of exceptional and creative menu development with proven sales results 

"¢ Proven results in achieving food, labor, and menu controls 

"¢ Fanatical attention to detail 

"¢ History of successful kitchen staff recruitment; training, development, and advancement of their sous chefs and hourly personnel. 

"¢ Significant experience in purchasing, inventory, supply purchasing, and purveyor relationships 

"¢ Unrelenting drive for food safety and health procedures 

"¢ Proficient computer skills 

"¢ Strong professional work ethics. 

"¢ History of and commitment to great people skills 



Ideal Candidates Will Also Possess: 

"¢ History of successful development of artisanal/gourmet pizza menus 

"¢ Experience and desire in pairing food with beer and beer cuisine

"¢ Previous experience in startup/opening of successful upscale-casual restaurants 

"¢ Successful development of inventory and costing software/programs.



Responsibilities 

"¢ Manage all areas of the Kitchen and Back of House personnel. 

"¢ Menu development and planning

"¢ Development of special events and beer dinners.

"¢ Work with front of house to develop catering and special events proposals 

"¢ Hiring, training, scheduling, and development of back of house staff

"¢ All facets of BOH Cost Controls 

"¢ All facets of local, state, & federal regulatory requirements in the Back of House
