Its always interesting when people dissect the minutia and details of a complex issue, strip away the simplistic and often political descriptions and try and get to the bottom of issues. I knew nothing of the details of the school lunch program, by example. Wonderful details on how this now politically controversial topic actually works with regard to some of its applications. Big difference between a couple of people who work away at the details for months, and a celebrity getting publicity on TV....but the observation that the reality TV show has more impact than months or years of detailed research is quite telling.
