LauraB
I'm stumped on this one. A good friend and I are having lunch next week and she has requested that we go somewhere 'with good salads.' Salad isn't exactly what I'm craving in mid-February. My first thought was that we get carryout salads from the Sweetgreen 3 blocks from me and eat at my house. I'm hoping you all can suggest a better plan. It needs to be in DC. Thanks!
goodeats
Here's a good list. Maybe Busboys & Poets, too?
The Hersch
I've never been, but I think Woodward Table might be what you're looking for: Woodward Table lunch menu
DonRocks
Not having any special knowledge of lunch salads, my advice would be to pick the restaurant where you'd like to dine, then check the menu for what types of salads they have. Just about every sit-down restaurant in DC is going to have salads of some sort, so I would start with your restaurants of choice, then check the menus online, and eliminate one-by-one.
ALB
Not knowing where you live,I love getting salads at Cava Grill. Good sauces, meats or falafel and vegetables. Definitely not sit down, but enjoyable. (and you can get the same thing on pitas or rice)
