Thought I'd try this out, on behalf of a grad of the DC bartending school.   An old grad with a decade of experience popped into the school the other night with a new grad who he is training.   Our training environment is actually very effective;

He walked the newish grad through some critical and helpful points and was discussing the craft with one of our instructors who also has great experience.

The help he was giving the new grad was spot on, with regard to customer service, little efficiency tips, etc etc.   He was focusing on points to "coach up" this newish person so he could be more effective on the job where he had some "weaker points"

The old grad is looking for a new "gig".  Anyone need an experienced bartender with wide ranging skills: and experience from clubs to finer dining?

I caught these two very different reviews that mentioned or referenced the bartender:

The bartender who flips bottles may be the best shooter creator in Arlington, but the other bartenders are low grade - they don't chill Tic Tac's....

and in a totally different context this review:

I went with two friends on a Sunday night and we sat at the bar. Our bartender Freddy was great. He knew the menu, the biz, and was friendly. He pointed out the owner who we chatted with as well.

This experienced bartender, Freddie, is currently looking for work.  (btw, the flair he did was probably "working flair" not show stuff.)

If you are interested contact me through a dm with some details and I'll forward it to the grad.
