Lost 2 pounds, but exercise alone is not getting me much of anywhere. I've been working out like a wildman training for a triathlon, but am not really losing any weight (and I'm at an all time high). I figured I could keep up my freewheeling eating and drinking lifestyle, but it looks like some dietary changes are definitely in order :o

You know, I have a tall, slim friend (married to a tall, skinny guy who's approaching 50 and still eats like a horse with no consequences) who learned how to swim last year to participate in a triathlon. Her team won. You would not believe how great she looks now and because of the intensity of the training, she "needs" to run on a regular basis just because she got into the habit and enjoys the freedom it provides.

So, I hope you'll stick with it. I also started out stubborn, saying I wouldn't diet. Adjust slowly and don't give up the Parmesan.

Lost another 4 lbs since my last update, for a total of 14. It was mainly excercise that got me there, as I didn't make much of a change to my diet (lack of willpower in the face of bacon, beer, ice cream, you-name-it, etc... )
