The New Bridge, in the Former "The Bridge" and "Iron Bridge Wine Company" Space, Wine-Centric American Tavern in Warrenton - Closed

Recommended Posts

The Bridge was sold, closed on September 5th, renovated, and reopened on December 3rd as "The New Bridge." with owner John Molière and chef Sebastien Agez.

(a new owner + a new name = a new thread)

Thanks to FauquierNow.com for the article.

Same chef and bar manager though. But for the fact that the last guy forgot to renew the liquor license the place might have stayed open continuously, but they had to re-apply and used the time waiting for the new liquor license to spruce the place up a bit. I believe Mr. Moliere always owned the building and was heavily invested as a backer of the former "owner", to the extent that he controlled the situation and had the power to boot the guy.

Okay, this is somewhat complicated, but here we go ...

The original restaurant at 29 Main Street was first called "Iron Bridge Wine Company," and then "The Bridge" - their thread is here.

"The New Bridge" (this thread), under new ownership, has closed, and reopened as "Denim and Pearls," under a third ownership - their thread is here.
