Very sad to learn this morning that Reid's has dropped out of the Dupont market. Sigh.... I love Barry and Marie and they were reallly the only reason I was still going to Dupont rather going to Takoma Park on Sunday's.

I was hoping they were just taking a labor day holiday weekend. I live off their magness pears in the fall, and was really looking forward to them. Do they sell at Mount Pleasant (I seem to recollect seeing them there).

I seem to recall Marie mentioning Falls Church in the past and I think I've seen them at USDA on Friday's and Clarendon on Wednesday's but that was a few years ago. Anyone else know?

Yes, Reid's is a delightful and important part of the Mt. Pleasant market, Saturday mornings.

You just answered one of my questions. Cf. my post in Dupont column. Is the vender at Mt. Pleasant calling itself Reid Orchards still, or does the side of truck and sign read "Papa's Orchards"?

Reid's Orchard has always been an anchor of the MtP market ever since it started. Caitlan Reid runs the stand at Mount Pleasant.
