We are going to start planning our last picnic before the weather becomes too cold. Please choose which of the two dates works best for you and your family. The picnic is family friendly and we hope you will join us. You can read about our first picnic this spring here.

Once the date is set I will start a thread to being the planning.

Please vote early and often.

And if you are a fan of Chicago deep-dish pizza, be sure to vote even if you're dead.

We made a batch of ice cream last time. What should we do for a fun food item this go around?

Do you think we could use the ice cream maker to fix up a batch of frozen margaritas?

I could make some marshmallow fluff and Rice Krispy squares.

I was thinking more along the lines of something fun that we do while at the picnic. If you consider hand cranking an ice-cream maker fun. :P

Weenie roast?  S'mores?

Only so long as we do them on the grill, no open fires are allowed.
Please unload all firearms and remove ski masks before entering establishment.

:P I thought this was a family site?

There is a huge march planned on the mall on 9/24, so lots of people will be in town and traffic might suck ventworm nut for a couple of days. Something to consider.

I will try to clear my VERY busy social calendar :P  :P to attend this "august" group picnic; however, you might all bear in mind that Sunday, September 11 is Adams Morgan Day. Word.
