MarkS
This is a solid place if someone is taking you out on their expense account. Drinks were great with lots of bourbon choices. Seafood tower had plump and tasty oysters, weak small crab claws and good shrimp. Horseradish though grated seemed weak. I had gumbo which must have been good as my plate was clean or else it was too many old fashioneds. Not sure. There were 12 of us and everyone seemed to be able to get something to eat which they enjoyed. A bit heavy for my taste but great if someone else is paying. mtureck
From Eater: “It’s a very good possibility we would probably be opening another Acadiana somewhere in this general area. They are actively looking,” says Flores, in a phone call Thursday.

Now it makes more sense - Acadiana's square footage is enormous, but much of it is hidden in private dining areas that almost surely go unused, day-after-day. I suspect this restaurant needs only 50% of its current space.
