Celebrate Easter and Mother’s Day

Sunday Brunch Buffets at Michel Richard’s Citronelle


(Washington, DC-March 19, 2012) Don’t slave over a hot stove this Easter and this Mother’s Day let someone else do the dishes. Michel Richard’s legendary Citronelle, the perfect special occasion will celebrate both holidays with an elegant spread of some his favorite dishes. Chef Michel Richard will be offering guests his traditional Brunch Buffet with a savory selection of salads, entrées, side dishes and desserts. The spectacular spread of salads includes Crab Coleslaw, Cold Poached Shrimp, Potato Leek Salad, Caesar Salad, Mixed Green, Blue Point Oysters, Sliced Smoked Salmon and Eggplant Gazpacho. For entrees, guests can choose from almost a dozen delicious large and small plates like the Salmon with Celery Sauce, Halibut with Lobster Saffron Sauce, Roasted Chicken with Lemon Chicken Jus, Roasted Ham with Peppercorn Sauce, Rack of Lamb with Lamb Jus, Scrambled Eggs, Red Skin Mashed Potatoes, Baked Beans, Mixed Vegetables and Gratin Dauphinois. If you have any room left for dessert (which we hope you do), Michel roots as a pastry chef will satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth, with Chocolate Hazelnut Cake, Mixed Berry Cheesecake, Napoleon Vanilla, Chocolate Bars, Crème Caramel, Crème Puff, Truffle Grapes, Pear Tart, Apple Tart, Fruit Salad, Lemon “eggs”, Raspberry Cupcake, Cookies, Ana’s Raspberry Tart, Cherry Clafoutis and Chocolate Strawberries.
The Brunch Buffett is $85 for adults and $37 for children under 12. Tax and Gratuity are not included. The Brunch Buffett will be served on Easter Sunday, April 8, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, and on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13, 11:00 AM-3:00 PM. Celebration Sundays in May

at Central Michel Richard



(Washington, DC- April 17, 2012) The month of May marks many occasions to celebrate: from the graduate taking their first steps into the “real world” to all of the moms who make even the largest leaps of faith seem possible. Central opens for three special Sundays in May to pamper the palates and warm the spirits of those we love.

Central will open on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 13th for both Brunch and Dinner service. Mother’s Day Brunch will be served from 12-2:30pm. A special Brunch menu designed by Michel Richard and Executive Chef Jason Maddens will be served in addition to the Central regular lunch menu. Brunch specials will include smoked salmon, Michel’s Eggs Benedict, Brioche French Toast, and a Bacon and Leek Quiche. Sunday Dinner will be available from 5-9pm. Let Central help you salute the ladies who bring the “joie de vivre” into your lives each day.

Central will also open its doors for dinner from 5-9pm on Sunday May 6th and Sunday May 20th to honor the accomplishments of our area graduates. Mark this milestone with a dinner that includes Chef Richard's whimsical contemporary fare along with vintages by the glass or bottle. Toast this time together with your families!

Daily Grill is Offering a Special Brunch Menu For Mother’s Day


WHAT: Treat mom right by taking her to a special brunch at Daily Grill. Traditional brunch items like Everything Bagel & Lox, Eggs Benedict and Texas French Toast with Fresh Berry Compote will be served alongside new favorites like Filet Oscar and Spinach Salad with Blackened Scallops. Reservations are highly recommended.
