URBANA CELEBRATES SIXTH BIRTHDAY
WITH OYSTER AND BEER PARTY
War Shore Oyster Company, Port City Brewing Company and
The Oyster Recovery Program Celebrate with Dupont Circle Restaurant  

WHAT:   Urbana Restaurant and Wine Bar will kick-off a weeklong celebration of its sixth birthday with an oyster and beer happy hour on Friday, July 13^th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Chef John Critchley and team will shuck Chesapeake Bay oysters from the War Shore Oyster Company, while Port City Brewing Company will be on hand pouring their limited edition Revival Oyster Stout. Oyster shells from the event will be saved and recycled by the Oyster Recovery Program. During the 6^th Birthday happy hour event, oysters will cost 50 cents apiece, and the Port City Revival Oyster Stout will be $4 per pint.

    Following the birthday week launch party, Urbana will offer birthday specials at the bar and in the dining room between July 14 and 21 including:

· ‘6 oysters and a pint for $6:’ A half dozen War Shore oysters and pint of Port City Revival Oyster Stout for $6 (in honor of the restaurant’s 6^th birthday). **Only available during happy hour, between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m.

· $10 glasses of Veuve Clicquot available at the bar between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m., and during dinner service in the dining room.

· Complimentary ice cream cones, featuring house-made ice cream from Chef Critchley, for all guests enjoying dinner in the dining room.

WHEN:    Birthday Happy Hour: Friday July 13^th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. **Birthday week happy hour specials available after the July 13^th event will be available daily from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. between July 14 and 21.**

Glen Manor Wine Dinner at Apt 2g

The Dinner

This dinner is an occasion to experience wine and food from the source. The talented Chefs David and Stacy Gedney will create dishes ideal for pairing with the wines. Renowned vigneron Jeff White will discuss his wines and the process behind them.
Dinner is served at 7pm. Prix Fixe is $100 per person, not inclusive of tax or gratuity. All the wines at the tasting will be available for pre-order, with discounts off our standard retail prices. Reservations are required.
  
The Menu

The menu will be six courses, to pair with six of Glen Manor’s wines. Typically with our specialty dinners at Apartment 2g, the menu is not be released in advanced. However, since this is the second wine diner with Glen Manor wines this season, we are able to share the night's menu ahead of time.
