seanvtaylor
Lunch here was not too bad. $4.99 for a falafel with (apparently) house-made pita. The falafel were huge and nicely fried, perhaps a bit gummy in the center due to the size but flavorful. The toppings "bar" had 4-5 toppings, but no evidence of tahini that I could find. They also do shawarma, and based on this visit I'll be back to give that a shot. They have a sign up indicating that they do chicken and beef tacos, and there are several other items on the menu that look like they are worth trying. This is basically a hole in the wall connected to the Kosher Mart at the corner of Rollins and Jefferson.
Al Dente
Try the shawarma! It's addictive. I do wish they'd work out a more efficient way of serving there. You order, pay, wait, they hand you your falafel/shawarma, you attempt to load it up with fixins, then you vie for attention to get them to wrap it to go, and finally you're on your way. They should offer those little plastic cups or something.

The tahini is that cream-colored stuff in the squirt bottle.
comestibles
For fans of Moti's Falafel Stand in the KosherMart, the place is now closed. Stopped by for a sharwarma today and was notified that the Stand is closed forever starting today.
