I can't think of any place locally where I've seen it, but La Tienda (http://www.tienda.com/food/products/rc-03.html) has it.

Fine Cooking magazine says that Goya medium grain rice is an excellent substitute, and you can get it pretty much anywhere. I buy it at SFW at Potomac Yards and have used it in numerous paellas with good results.

Try Williams Sonoma. I've gotten it there in the past.

I've seen it recently at Dean and Deluca. I get rice from Spain at A&H Seafood in Bethesda. It's Montsia brand--but not their bomba variety--but I would definitely call A&H to ask if they carry a bomba. If they do, it's the cheapest place around to get it. Any time you need a product from Spain, check there first. They've got lots of stuff besides fish.

Oops - I forgot to report that I saw it at La Cuisine in Old Town on Saturday.

For what it's worth, I saw bomba rice at one of Canales' stalls at Eastern Market yesterday. It was on the top of the counter above the cooler displaying fresh pasta. $12.75 for 1 kilo.
