Anna Blume
Father Barton, it has been thirty-five years since my last confession. I was in Whole Foods tonight. I know you're not supposed to shop hungry, but it was 8 PM, no dinner yet, and I was passing the seafood counter on my way to the figs on sale. Spied stacks of gleaming smoked-salmon ends and persuaded the guys behind the counter to divide a container up so I could have just a little with the bit of Neufchatel and sunflower flax bread I have at home. Hot coffee for breakfast. There's one ripe tomato from over a week ago. Some cucumber, red onion... Head to cashier and notice "Smoked farm-raised salmon" on the label. Bought it anyway. The guys were so nice to give me such a tiny bit...

ktmoomau
When I was in college, I made mashed potatoes from a box. My Husband likes instant mashed potatoes. Father forgive him, I'm trying- really. And forgive me for making instant grits from time to time, I know they aren't as good, but they are so quick.
