MBK
I have a recipe for a 3-5 pound chicken that I am supposed to roast for 1 1/2 hours in a 375 degree oven. I need to double the recipe, so I intend to buy two 3-5 pound chickens. How do I need to change the time/temperature? Thanks from a newbie at roasting chickens! mdt
What type and size oven do you have? I don't think you have to change anything. They may require a little longer cooking time, but not much. The main thing is to have enough room between the birds to allow the heat to circulate. You don't happen to have a thermometer to check the bird's temp do you?
