Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get churros here in Washington DC. Are there any Spanish or Mexican bakeries? If anyone knows where I can get them that would be great.
Thanks!

Dolcezza, the gelato shop in Georgetown has them. I have not tried their version but have heard they are good.

Costco. The food stand where they sell hot dogs and pizza now sells churros. The Italian sausage and peppers are tasty, too, cooked in the pizza oven. If you can somehow ignore the crappy bread--I just eat the filling and discard the roll.

My wife is making Churros tonight, from the Sunday Suppers at Luques cookbook. It looks pretty simple, I can't wait.

I second the Churreria Madrid rec. Its on Champlain between Columbia and Euclid (a tiny little block, you can't miss it). The churros are quite tasty. I don't recommend the paella there, though - last time I ordered it, it was a bit sandy

That sounds like an invitation if I ever heard one!
