Crackpot Gourmet
During the DR happy hour at Dino, the chef kept us fat and happy with some great apps. One was a dish of beans ( I think fava beans). Can anyone, Dean????, tell me the kind of beans we ate and what had been done to them?

On a quite regular basis we serve a lupini in a harissa spiked brine. In addition we make a garbanzo bean disp with the oil and bits and pieces of our artichokes with a little added red pepper and capers and cukes. I don't know if this was out that night as well.

Whole Foods. Olive bar. $8.99 per pound. You may regret bringing them into your home, though. I know I do. Devoured in hours.
