Triscuits with aged cheddar and last summer's homemade peach/habanero chutney. It's making me want to start canning again because this is the last jar.

Free-range water? Does that mean it's allowed to roam the fields before it's slaughtered?

That's correct. It is also reconstituted from concentrate.

Last night:
Prime NY Strip Steak from Ayershire Farms
Black Eyed Pea salad w/fresh arugula tomotoes
Arugula & Marche salad

Bottle of 2002 Ramey Claret.

Very nice.

A clean-out-the-fridge lunch: Slice of toast with shaved aged cheddar, crispy bacon, and scrambled egg. Things are better with bacon.

After last night's Ray's, I needed something less filling so I opted for a Kati Roll. Puri filled with Unda Aloo or egg and spicey potatoes. Filling, fried and satisfying but not too satisfying.

Where do you find such a thing?
hillvalley
Figs, the little Mediteranian place a couple of doors down from Kotobuki. There was a small variety of English goodies.

They also have an excellent dessert called mango delight. It's layers of mango pudding and thick mango jello. Yummm

Are they Walker's brand? I'm working really hard on a good Keeping Up Appearances tie-in, but it's not coming together. I think it's because I just remembered to set my clocks ahead.
hillvalley
Yep, they are Walkers.

Hot sauce is delicious, there is no denying that. But....it's easy to overdo. If you're not careful, you can lose control, lose your lunch, or worse. Two good drops of Dave's Insanity Sauce is perfectly safe to put into a bowl of Spaghetti-Os. Three is just too much. Please, be careful with hot sauce.

When I was younger I convinced my friend that Dave's Insanity Sauce was just a marketing ploy and that it really was tangy. Convinced of this, he then thought it would be great to "pretend" like it was really hot in front of another friend. The moment he put a tortilla chip soaked in Dave's Insanity Sauce into his mouth he called me an A-Hole and proceeded to cry in pain from the heat.....15 years later he is still somehow one of my best friends.

I just finished eating cole slaw leftover from a batch I made for dinner last night: cabbage, carrots, mayo, buttermilk, salt, sugar, and celery seeds. No hot sauce wink.gif

Hot sauce in cole slaw is good, just don't add so much that it turns slightly pink. At that point other flavors start getting lost. ph34r.gif

Although not technically "right now," last night I had what I thought was a pretty good thrown together dinner. Sliced up a zucchini, two small onions and about 5 cloves of garlic. Smothered it in olive oil and salt and roasted on 450 for about 45 minutes. So sweet. So delicious. So simple. Over some pasta with shaved fresh parm on top. Mmmmm.
Xochitl10
Roast beef and cheddar on ciabatta from the Atrium Cafe and a Diet Coke. Meat's a bit on the chewy side, but really honking tasty, all beefy and garlicky. Mmmm.
