I just found this awesome product from Australia - Hibiscus flowers in simple syrup - that makes excellent mixed drinks. Amazon.com has it, but I can't get it in time. I need it by this coming Friday. Anyone know if any stores carry it? Here's a picture of the jar (although I don't need this brand):

Looks delicious. No idea where you could get it, but you can get dried hibiscus flowers from health food stores (Yes market carries them, sometimes) or middle eastern grocery stores--could you make your own?

Yep! Cheesetique in Del Ray sells it.

I work there on Sundays and we have a handful of jars left. The cheese bar serves a hibiscus cocktail with sparkling wine. Yum!

I saw it at Williams-Sonoma last winter.

That is actually really funny - I used to run the Chefs Program at Cheesetique, up until March. I guess it's a new product!
So thanks, I'll be coming by to get one..
