  1. Winter is on the way. Where do you go to warm up with a great bowl of soup?
  2. So...where do you go when that sweet tooth strikes?
  3. Do you still need volunteers for this Thursday? I can come out and help.
  4. Okay, I just ordered delivery from MamaWok in Rockville on Key West Avenue. I will come back later to provide my review. Thanks.
  5. This evening, I searched the site looking for some good options of delivery. I didn't find one. What gives? Are there no good restaurants that offer delivery, not even chinese or pizza?
  6. I prefer the Bombay Bistro in Rockville. It was highly recommended by one of my N. Indian friends who is a vegetarian. The masala dosas are absolutely wonderful. The naan is always hot and fresh. It has an open kitchen so you can see them preparing your food as you wait. As to be expected they have a great selection of vegetarian dishes as well as fish/meat dishes. This is one of the few places where I can get them to make saag aloo. Most places make a saag paneer dish that is tasty but I prefer the saag aloo. My sister who usually detests the smell of Indian food likes to visit this place when she's in town.
  7. This is a very large farm located off of 28W and Rt. 107. I go here several times a year. I start with the strawberries in the late spring/early summer. I have also picked raspberries, tomatoes, thornless blackberries, apples and peaches. When you can find them, they have an excellent peach called Sugar Giant. It is very juicy and sweet right off the tree. Wow. There prices are very reasonable especially for the blackberries. I like pick your own because I know exactly the freshness and ripeness of the produce. For other pick your own options, try this website: http://pickyourown.org BTW: Does anyone know of any local organic pick your own farms?
