DanCole42
Is anyone familiar with this place? Is it a good program? http://www.tinlizziewineworks.com/ This year Santa gave me the option of going to adult space camp or making my own wine at Tin Lizzie Wineworks, and I can't decide! dmwine
Here's a description, at least from three years ago. I would say that space camp sounds like a once-in-a-lifetime thrill, while winemaking is likely the start of something very time consuming and expensive.
Tin Lizzie Wineworks
Dan, I just stumbled across this post. You should have asked me! I would have said, "GO TO SPACE CAMP!" Then after that come and make wine with us at Tin Lizzie Wineworks! FYI, our winemakers are making ultra premium wines right here in Maryland. We provide everything you need to make world class wines, from grapes to glass! Contrary to what Dave McIntyre said, our program is neither time consuming nor expensive. Our winemaking program is divided into four one-hour sessions over the course of one year for most red wines. And the cost per bottle of our Ultra Premium Napa Cabernet is a fraction of what you'd pay for an almost identical bottle in the wine store. I hope Space Camp was a blast! Salute!
