WHAT?!?! I thought for sure there would be one in the District , or at least in the Wheaton area. Interesting indeed. There is a pop up happening in my hood of lil ol York, Pa, and I wanted to do a bit of research before heading to this event.  Thanks for the rec.

I work with a Cambodian. He is unaware of any strictly Cambodian restaurants in this area, even though Khmer cuisine appears to be interesting, with some unique soups and quite a bit of Vietnamese-Thai fusion. My Cambodian co-worker is not deprived, however, because his mother is reportedly a good cook, and he says that the Vietnamese Phở is pretty doggone close to Cambodian Kuy teav.
