But looking back, Clay was the up-and-coming athlete and Liston was borderline over-the-hill, kind of like watching Mike Trout bat against C.C. Sabathia... I still think, in their primes, Clay would have been tested to his limits by any of Dempsey, Marciano or Joe Louis, kind of like the Frazier fights, all of which were very close bouts.
