Canned Food Drive for Progress Place

The wonderful Kefa Cafe (click) will be collecting cans of food and dry goods for Progress Place (click), which offers services to Silver Spring's homeless community, and includes the Shepherd's Table and Community Vision programs.

The drive will occur between 10 AM and 12 noon this Saturday, September 26th. Those bringing in cans will receive 10% off their order, or 20% off a French Press coffee.

Please support this important organization, and help patronize this terrific coffeehouse.

Kefa Cafe is at 963 Bonifant Street, Silver Spring, MD, 20910 (301) 589-9337. It's near the corner of Georgia Avenue, right next to Chevy Chase Bank (same street as Roger Miller and Thai Derm).
