Starfer
Anybody know where to obtain demi-glace sauce in the D.C. environs other than at Wegman's? Thanks.
Heather
Balducci's has it in the freezer case - at least they used to. And welcome to DR.com.
TSE
Whole Paycheck carries a range of demi-glaces.Reduced in free-range pans on a cruelty-free burner, I hope.
Keithstg
Pretty much any Williams-Sonoma carries demi - as does Dean and Deluca in Georgetown.

goldenticket
For those without time, space, or a jparrott in the house to make their own, Williams-Sonoma has their veal, beef, chicken, and mushroom demi-glace on sale for $16.99, regularly $29.00, for a 10.5 oz jar. It appears that they've changed packaging, so be sure to look for the discounted line. The jars I have seen have an expiration of December 2012.
