Joe H
From the Wine Library for $11.99 plus shipping ( http://winelibrary.com/search.asp?search=2...mp;x=8&y=13 ) this is an incredible wine that I believe is as good as their 93 point WS '04. http://www.winespectator.com/Wine/Wine_Rat...,221799,00.html Locally, I believe that MacArthur is selling this for $14.99-it is worth every penny of this and more. At $11.99 I bought three cases...

These are the winemaker's notes so TIFWIW: 50% Monastrell Old Vines, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% TempranilloOak-influenced aromas of vanilla and baking spices, ripe blackberry, plum and boysenberry. Lush dark berry flavors with vanilla, cinnamon and clove accents. Finishes on a dark berry liqueur note, with subtle tannins and a good finish. lackadaisi
It was great the first time we had it, but when we just ordered a case, it was quite annoying to be shipped a case of Luzon Jumilla 2006 instead. And, I am a bit skeptical that it was just an accident as the shipped wine is half the price of the purchased wine. All in all, a shitty end to a shitty day (Peapod, how could you forget the diapers!!!!!).
Joe H
Sorry, lackadaisi, especially since this is not nearly as good of a wine as the Altos. Thanks for trying them, though. I do think you'll like the wine when you...finally...receive it.
