But I think that it is too lemony for G&T's, that is unless you like them with a hint of lemon instead of lime. Go figure, but it makes a really good Aviation, however when using Aviation Gin I have had my best luck with Stock Maraschino instead of Luxardo, it is a bit heavier and simply plays better with the lemon. SeanMike Posted April 7, 2008 Share Posted April 7, 2008 Well, it didn't come in on Saturday, but I just made a mad dash into NW DC and picked up a bottle for myself and one for Marshall - and here in a few minutes, I might try a lemon G&T (using a piece of lemon instead of lime, I guess, given the gin).
