Toxic Plant In Your Salad?

The July issue of the British magazine "Healthy and Organic Living" apparently has an article on local foods by a chef who recommends gathering wild plants and putting henbane in salads. Oops, his bad. He meant to say a different plant with a similar common name, "fat hen" a type of wild spinach. The magazine has put this warning on their website:

IMPORTANT CORRECTION

In H&OL7 p60 Antony Worral Thompson recommends using henbane in salads. In fact henbane is a very toxic plant and should never been eaten. As always, check with an expert when foraging or collecting wild plants.
