  1. I'm addicted to their rice pudding - can't figure out the spices (cardamon?) but I love it. Not as dense as what I'm used to, but it's light and a perfect cooler after some of the spicier items there.
  2. I ate dinner there last week for the first time - my friend had the sea breem, which was excellent. My choice, the orechiette with crab . . . needed something. More flavor, more oomph. I doctored up the leftovers (garlic, some pepper and olive oil)) and they were better but I was still disappointed after all the raves. Next time, I'm getting a pizza.
  3. Tried the 7 corners outpost last night. It was good . . . but not great. Maybe I ordered wrong? Had the golden nuggets, which were served in a too-sweet gloppy sauce. They were okay. My friend had the General Tso's and that was much better. Also liked the steamed dumplings for the fresh ingredients but the wrapper was not freshly made. Finally, we shared the avocado lemon pie - interesting. I will try it again but order differently.
  4. I ate at the one in Chapel Hill NC over the Thanksgiving weekend - it was just plain bad.
  5. My first post here . . . Ate at Domaso last week and ordered some of the same things as the original poster. I had the steak for my entree - no knife needed, perfectly cooked, topped with carmelized sweet onions. My friends and I shared appetizers - along with the polenta, we had the mini ravioli and the artichoke salad. Both excellent. We loved the cheese straws and even took some home. We were told that the bread is made there - I thought it was quite authentic. Dessert for me was the semifreddo (cappucino, I think). Plate was bare when I was done. I was impressed and surprised by the quality of the food, and the enthusiastic, but not overbearing, service.
