  1. If your there in the evening or weekend, try the Prime Rib, damn good!
  2. I've been Smoking, then cooling, then thick slicing and frying Pork Belly for over a year...it's extremely popular here. I also do a Mac and Cheese with Pork Belly and a grilled Cheese and Pork Belly on Mac and Cheese sandwich.
  3. We have a very odd way to order/pay for "to go" here...You order at the front counter, the waitstaffer who took your order, gets it together, you pay her, she makes change, gives you your order, you leave. I know it's very confusing, but it's been working for years! My picky daughter likes the new McLean locations food!
  4. This week we will feature a "Burnt Ends" French onion soup, yes, it is good!
  5. Tried the Frederick location recently. Easily as good as Pizza Hut or Papa John's, in other words, totally awful.
  6. I'd rather eat canned Cat food, than Papa John's Pizza, absolutely the worst crap ever! Papa John's is to good Pizza, as dog doo is to expensive Perfume!
  7. I will put our 1/2 lb. locally raised and butchered 80/20 Angus, up against any burger in DC. I'm not trying to be a smartass, I just listen to the customer comments on them, and I eat a couple of them myself, every week. Come on up, find out, If not in the top 5 IYHO, no charge!
  8. For those of you who want to take a nice ride up this way, we now have a killer Pastrami. I'll put it head to head with any Pastrami I've had in New York and certainly DC. Not bragging, simply stating the facts. Mention dr.com and you get 25% off the Pastrami. 1/2 lb sandwich with either our twice fried homemade FF, cole slaw, potato salad or homemade potato chips, $10.99 before discount.
  9. Glad you stopped again, as far as microwave to reheat, no way on the pulled pork, what would have been done is hotter pork put in your sandwich, micro would kill the roll and dry the pork. The bathrooms are a work in progress, replaced all stalls and Commodes about 4 years ago, they get cleaned twice a day but it only takes a few kids about 1 minute to screw them up. The Men's sink needs replacing due to the well water we are on that stains the sinks rusty, but they are scrubbed as best we can twice a day. Say hello, next time in! Tom
  10. I'll make you wings so hot, if you can eat 10 or even 20, no charge for the wings or beer/soda you get, call ahead and let us know, I make the sauce in small batches!

  12. Sorry about the Ribs, takes about 3 1/2 hrs. to smoke them properly, we got crushed Friday night, ran out , soooo no ribs till around 1:00 pm. I buy 3 and up Baby Backs, as meaty as it gets. The sauce you liked is named PFFCHRCCT Sauce, no vowels in the name, so it's just a mouth noise, my ridiculous sense of humor. Sorry about the service, we pride ourselves on great service, one waitress called off, but that's no excuse. Next time in say hi to me, I'm the old fart at the computer, usually!
  13. Jay, I LOVE Deviled Eggs, the order I got at FM was simply nasty, I couldn't believe it, no vinegar taste no mustard, just a bad Umami flavor and funky texture. I will give them a second chanch, today as a matter of fact! They got the best Milkshake I've ever had, and those mini Chicken Pot Pies I could eat about 40. Love to trade them food, great idea! Tom
  14. I really like Family Meal, I wish they had a drive thru Fried Chicken capacity, I gladly pay $30.00 for an 8 piece bucket, that said, the only time I tried them their Deviled eggs were awful, not worth a second chanch!
  15. How about the building housing Range, in Chevy Chase. I heard they got the first year free, with the build out thrown in, JBG Properties, I believe.
