I am so pleased that we had moved away from Kalorama before it opened, so that we wouldn't have to pass it by every time we walked down the hill. We've been to the one in the Kentlands, in Gaithersburg. It's shit, plain and simple, served with a heapin' helping of schtick. Feh. -
We will be at Rosa Mexicano on Sunday after our Shakespeare Theatre performance. We go to the theater with friends, and once again they suggested that we go to "that place with the great guacamole!" I fear it will be a liquid supper for me, if I can manage not to spill my overfilled margarita on myself.

The egg salad. Not many places can do egg salad without it turning in to a gloppy mess.

And as I said in response - it's easier to drink and laugh with friends when someone will bring you the drink in the first place.

I have an irrepressible urge to eat some peanuts and a ballpark hot dog, washed down with a beer. Is anyone else interested in going to see the Nats on Monday or Tuesday?
