All-American Celebration: Ribs + Burgers + Lobster Rolls + Ice Cream Sandwiches & More Sunday, July 11 | From 12:00 - 6:00 Bid farewell to the World Cup with us at the Evening Star Cafe this Sunday for a fun-filled neighborhood afternoon of world class World Cup Soccer, fine food, beer, wine and friends. We'll be broadcasting the game on our brand new bigger-than-big screen tv - both indoors and out - all the while serving up a menu that includes Will's Slow-Cooked-Forever Forever BBQ Ribs, Genuine New England Lobster Rolls, Dogs with all the fixings, Burgers and Veggie Burgers and Ice Cream Sandwiches too. While we reluctantly acknowledge the fact that the US did not advance, that's not going to keep us from keeping this an all-American celebration. To that end, we'll be serving up a fine roster of beers from everyman’s PBR to a few of the best craft brews produced stateside. Planet Wine will bring it with a slew of fun summertime bottles and a totally refreshing sparkling wine cocktail. Big Block Party + USA / England Match Crawfish Boil + Hot Dogs + Hamburgers & More Saturday, June 12 | From 12:00 - 6:00 Join us outdoors at the Evening Star Cafe this Saturday for a fun-filled neighborhood afternoon of world class World Cup Soccer, fine food, beer, wine and friends. We'll be broadcasting the USA vs. England game on several big screens, both indoors and out - against a backdrop that'll includes and authentic Louisiana Crawfish boil, hot dogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob and more. Beer Director Greg Engert adds to the rivalry by pitting rare English brews against American versions of the same style. The English side will include drafts of Meantime IPA and a cask of Coniston Bluebird XB, while Coronado Brewing Company’s Islander IPA and Blue Mountain Brewing Company’s Full Nelson Pale Ale will represent the American side.
