  1. Went last Friday and the burger menu was available. Though we had to be seated in the more casual side which was fine.
  2. I normally let places settle in before trying them but with RW we wanted to avoid the crowds. We went on tuesday and had the bibb salad, deviled eggs, crab cake as an app and hanger steaks. Everything was spot on. The crab cake was outstanding so any previous issues have been resolved. The service was well timed and James who assisted with the wine service was very helpful. Very impressed given they've only been open a few weeks. The only thing I would add is that I agree with the suggestion that there needs to be some "safer" selections for the less adventurous diners.
  3. Tried the new menu last night with friends. Started with some drinks at the bar and I enjoyed the Corpse Reviver No. 2 which was very refreshing. Someone else had the The Misfit Toy and liked it. The truffle oil popcorn seemed was stale. At the table the group started with the Mac and Cheese and the Tuna Tartare both were good. Next we split a pasta special of short rib ravioli with shrimp in a tomato coulis. This was the highlight of the evening. Entrees were the Grilled Tuna Loin, Colorado Lamb Loin, veal chop special and Meat & Potatoes. The off the menu veal chop was the best of the group. I order the meat and potatoe and the steak while cooked correctly to med-rare lacked flavor. We order a dessert to share - Chocolate Layer Cake - this was too dry and was not finished. The server asked why and replaced it with the Pineapple-Caramel Éclair which was outstanding. They have not dumbed down the wine list which I feel is overpriced and hard to find value. Before I return I'll call to see if they have the short rib pasta special. That alone is worth a return trip and provides hope that the seasonal menu will work at 2941.
  4. I hosted my wife's 40th birthday at 3 Bar and Grill. They were easy to work with and the we had a great time.
  5. Not much to add here but this place is great and worth any wait. I usually try to go @11:30 or 3:00pm to avoid the lines.
  6. Last night our group stuck to appetizers of cheese, charcuterie, and shell fish. The Pate De Campagne marmalade is outstanding and was the highlight of our visit and worth a return trip by itself. The cheese were served at the correct temperature which is a plus. The drafts beers were cold and tasty. Service had some slow moments but I wonder if it was our location as we were upstairs in the trophy room.
  7. Ray's was great as usually last night. Disappointed to learn that the mac and cheese is no longer offered. Our kids had to have bacon and potatoes. We are irish so I think this is ok.
  8. Took my first visit to Screwtop yesterday around 4pm. I needed some liquid courage before I finished my Christmas shopping. I enjoyed O'Reilly's pinot and a meat/cheese tray. Looking forward to returning and exploring the menu. Wendy and Perry could not have been nicer.
  9. I recently held my wife's 40th birthday party at Restaurant 3. They did a great job.
  10. I had it at lunch about a month ago. The corn beef melts in your mouth.
  11. I try the reuben at at Liberty Tavern this past saturday and though it was disappointing. Their homemade corn beef and sauerkraut was sort of bland. The potato salad had way too much mayo. The reuben at Sou'Wester is a winner!
  12. Dinner at Liberty on Saturday night. Duck Confit and Egg Noodles with Rabbit Confit to start. The rabbit was tender and the sauce was very earthy and rich. Entrees were the skirt steak and duroc pork chop. Both were great but the winner was the bone-in pork chop. Everything was spot on with no disappointments.
