Hi folks! I'm going to attempt gumbo. Where can I get some good Andouille around DC/Arlington? (preferably somewhere metro or bike accessible - I'm car-free these days)
Anyone have any Gumbo tips, recipes or tricks to share?
Cheers!
Carrie
Thanks for the help! They loved Blue Moon. I had my own really nice dinner at Planet X. The waitstaff was really amazing. The porch was funky and cozy (even in pouring rain).
If you were making dinner reservations for a couple (in their late 60’s) in Rehoboth Beach for a very special occasion, where would you send them? Dewey, Bethany and Fenwick would be fine as well - as long as it is fine dining.
Thanks!

I just popped into a small Japanese market just opened up on the corner of 17th and U street. It's a tiny, neat space with dry goods on metro shelving and some refrigerated and frozen items. The man who was working today says they have been open for about a week. Is this the only Japanese market in DC? Hana Market 2000 17th Street NW 202-939-8854

I haven’t received my Oyster Riot bracelets yet but I’m going to have 1-4 tickets to trade if anyone is interested.
PM me if you have 1-4 tickets to trade for either Friday or Saturday night.

I’m looking for a place to take my parents for a belated thanksgiving meal. Mom would love to go somewhere “cozy with a fireplace”. Something along the lines of 1789 would be perfect but it’s out (they were just there).
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Carrie
