The Olney Farmers and Artists Market is a relatively new market in its second year at the Olney Town Center, Route 108 (Olney-Sandy Spring Road) and Spartan Road in Olney, Md in northern Montgomery County. The market is distinctive in that it offers fresh produce, food vendors, artists, children's activities, live music and weekly chef demonstrations with area chefs and cook book authors. Hi, My name is Amy and I'm on the board of the Olney Farmers and Artists Market, a two-year old market in Olney, Maryland. We operate Sundays from 9 am to 1 pm from May through mid-November and are located at Olney Town Center, Route 108 (Olney-Sandy Spring Road) and Spartan Road in the heart of Olney. We are unusual in that we not only have great farmers and vendors, but we also have artists and live music, chef demonstrations, and children's activities. I'm hopeful that you will spread the word.
