  1. Greetings from Wyoming. I will be staying at the Westin Georgetown and would love any and all ideas for great dining. I am on a per diem so expensive is not in the equation. My group looks forward to my finding new eateries so I need your help. Any cuisine will work and we would love to walk or take public transit (metro or surface). Places I love are Dino, Bistro du Coin, 2 Amys to name a few. I am not into Fillomena! Thanks in advance for your help, Rick
  2. Yes...City Lights was it. Thanks. Any general recomendations for great moderately priced places in that area. I get in late and will be looking for something close to the Hotel.
  3. Hello all and greetings from Wyoming. I will be in town tomorrow night and was wondering if anyone had a reccomendation for a good chinese place in the Dupont Circle area. The old bartendar at New Heights recommended a place on Conn. that was below street level on the way to the "Hinkley Hilton" from the Circle. Any thoughts? Rick
  4. I have been getting emails recommending that I introduce myself to this forum...so here I am. I hail from Laramie Wyoming and visit Washington on a regular basis for my work with Head Start. Seeing as how we don't have many food choices out here, I savor my trips to your great city! I love to explore the city on foot and find new restaurants for dinner. I really love Dino in Cleveland Park and always find my way there every time I visit. They remember me and always welcome me like I was a local. From my side of the fence, that kind of customer service is very hard to find and keeps me coming back. And the food isn't too bad either! I'm heading out your way next week and will be staying in the Woodley Park area. I'm looking forward to the vietnamese restauraunt down the street from Dino. That's it for now. Rico
