      Of the two new restaurants that I visited recently, I prefer Arroz over Siren for now.  I don't think Siren has yet to work out all of its kinks - hence the menu isn't even online yet.

    Where can I find really good hamentachen ( local Jewish delis and Whole Foods taste like cardboard lumps) ? The only good ones I found were at Amernick's many years ago.

    I just saw a sign for a new Grille restaurant to open near Terasol on Conn. & Fessenden. Does anyone know about it?

    How about Acacia - Van Ness & Connecticut ? They have small plates as well dinner portions which cover all price points.

    I'm a big fan of Praline and Atwater's but haven't tried Ovens ar Quail Creek or the Sat. market on U & 14th. thanks

    Yes. In addition to the bakery, they sell them at Broadbranch Market and the cafe in Politics & Prose.

    Hello, I'm a pescaterian (eats seafood; no meat) who's always on the lookout for healthy, inspiring food. I have a weakness for baked goods but find it challenging in DC to find high quality bakeries - I keep searching.
