Hello All. I am an employee at Dolcezza in their new location. For this location, Robb and Violeta (the owners and founder of the company), decided on a new concept. Not only are we serving daily made gelatos and sorbets that have been our staple, but we are now working with some kick ass local baristas to do outrageous espresso drinks and single serving, pour -over coffees. So far we've had a great reception, but always welcoming new customers with new opinions. So please, everyone, come by our new shop anytime, we keep ridiculous hours (7am to 11pm Mon-Thurs, 7am to Midnight Friday, 8am to Midnight Saturday, and 8am to 10pm on Sunday) and send me some feedback here!!! If you're looking for restaurants around Cascades/Sterling, you a few options. BistroBistro is pricey but really good. Hooked is in the same area and has really awesome seafood and what not. Let's see. If you're willing to travel down route 7 to Leesburg, Firework's Pizza is awesome. Hope this helps. NOTE: none of these are chains. They are privately owned and operated.

I'm looking to make a change in my career and want some locals advice on the best places for amazing espressos and coffees. A restaurant atmosphere is nice but not a must. Any and all suggestions are welcomed. Thanks!

Hello, this is my first post to the web site, so it might seem a little awkward. I am a line cook and have worked at various restaurants in the DC/VA area. I have experience in charcuterie, baking and pastry, and the hot line (no master/expert by any means though). I attended the Culinary Institute of America and continue to love learning all there is to know about cooking. Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays you can catch me at Farmers' Markets in DC, where I volunteer to learn more about our local agriculture and food businesses. It's really fun and a great way to be involved. Can't wait to see all the website has to offer.
