Hi everyone,
I recently hopped the blog train with Fatback and Foie Gras. I guess it's best described as a little slice of Americana and beyond with foodie stories, recipes, travel, dining etc.... I'm a food writer in Richmond, VA but travel often to DC mostly to eat since Richmond can seem a bit small sometimes. Looking forward to meeting everyone and sharing some fun food stuff.
Just posted a piece honoring all the Baptist church ladies and their amazing Southern cooking if you care to check it out. I also shared an old family recipe for a Jell-O salad made with lemon gelatin, whipped cream, pineapple and pimientos. Sounds like a crazy combo, but it's super good.
