Hi Everybody, This is long overdue. I met everyone when my husband and I stumbled upon the Summer Picnic Gathering at Ft. Hunt Park. This is my first post. About me- I'm a native northern Virginian. I grew up in North Arlington and now reside in Old Town Alexandria. I love food and teach people how to eat and live healthier through my work as a holistic health counselor. I'm an avid cook and a proud foodie. My talent is peering into our fridge and whipping up a meal with whatever happens to be in it. Last night's dinner was an arugula salad with small baby shrimp from Maine, sweet corn and artichoke in a balsamic vinegrette. Our fridge was pretty much empty, but it all came together.
